Welcome to the make arcade

Hi! I'm Ruth, and welcome to The Make Arcade, the home of happy craft kits. We are a female founded small business established in 2013 from my kitchen table with two under fives running around (seems like yesterday!) which now supplies modern craft kits to stores and customers across the world! In the beginning I taught hundreds of people how to sew and craft at in-person workshops and then transitioned the workshops into DIY kits to spread my joy and passion for creativity and craft to a new generation of makers. 

Inspired by popular culture and an inherent love of DIY the kits are bright, colourful and affirmative and are a perfect product for a mindful and creative moment. We want to encourage people to step away from their screens and discover the joy of craft!

After ten years of establishing The Make Arcade as a leading craft kit brand we now produce thousands of kits every year for small indies and high street stores. Some of our clients include Liberty, Scribbler, Dunelm, Treatbox. RHS, Tate and John Lewis and all products are designed in our colourful studio in Salisbury.  Our kits are proudly made in the UK supporting other British suppliers and that’s the way we intend for it to continue!
